  • How soon do you ship?

It takes about 7 working days for the backdrops to be dispatched once the order is placed.

It is extremely important to proceed with bookings only once your backdrop has arrived!

  • How is the backdrop shipped?

We courier your backdrop to your door!

The Matt PVC is rolled on a core to prevent damage, while the Fabric Backdrops are shipped in a mailing bag.

  • How do we contact you?

As an online store, emails are our preferred method of communication.

Please note that we do not make use of Facebook or Instagram messaging.

  • What materials do you use for your backdrops?

Fabric Backdrops:

We make use of Poly Fabric for our Fabric Backdrops, they are light in weight and easy to use and are especially great to use if you have a mobile studio.

The Poly Fabric Backdrops can be hand washed and they take up very little storage space.  Folding creases can easily be removed with a handheld steamer or you can make use of an iron on the back of the backdrop for a few minutes.

Matt PVC Backdrops:

The more affordable and durable Matt PVC is rolled on a core tube. They are wonderful to use as flooring in studios.

Very important to note that designs with darker colours will cause a shine or reflection on the PVC. In an instance where your choice of design is a darker colour, we highly recommend that you make use of our fabric backdrops.

The Matt PVC Backdrops can easily be cleaned by wiping it down with a damp cloth. These backdrops do take up more space as they need to be stored rolled up on their core tube or by laying them flat open. Matt PVC Backdrops are heavy and can scratch easily.

  • Custom Designs

Yes, we can absolutely print your custom backdrops for you!  Send us an email to info@studiobackdrops.co.za for your enquiry.

A fee of R350 applies to all custom designs.

Studio Backdrops cannot be held responsible for the quality of the images that clients provide for their custom designs.

Custom designs done by Studio Backdrops, remains the property of Studio Backdrops and may be added to our product range.  Requests for exclusivity of a design should be discussed and confirmed beforehand.  Fees will be applicable for the duration of the exclusivity period.

  • I live outside South Africa, can I purchase from you?

  • How to take care of your Seamless Paper Backdrop?

Here are a few tips to take care of a Savage  Seamless Paper Background:

  • Store your paper backdrop vertically and in a dry place
  • After each photoshoot, roll the paper back up tightly to avoid wrinkles
  • Secure your backdrop with a clamp at the top, to make sure it does not unwind unnecessarily.
  • When you create an infinity curve with your seamless paper backdrop, make sure it is on a hard floor,  to prevent tears
  • Secure the edges of the photographic background to the floor with tape, to make sure  you do not trip over the curling edges.
  • What is your returns policy?

All Studio Backdrops are custom printed to your size and design, therefore all sales are final.

No refunds or returns and no cancellations can be made once the order is placed and the printing process has started.

We recommend that as soon as you receive your Studio Backdrop, you check it. If your backdrop is damaged or faulty, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and provide photos for us to assess, or the sale will remain final.

If your backdrop is to be returned to us for any reason (only if approved in writing by Studio Backdrops), please notify us at customersupport@studiobackdrops.com.

  • General Information

Sizes mentioned on the website, indicate the width first and then the height.

Samples of backdrops in use are purely to assist with visualizing on how to use Studio Backdrops.

Light setups & editing styles are unique and the exact same results can therefore not be guaranteed.

Slight colour variances may occur as screens / monitors represent RGB colour, while printed colours consists CMYK Process Colours.

At Studio Backdrops we absolutely strive to deliver outstanding service at all times, but can however not be held liable for minor delays that may occur during peak times or circumstances out of our control.

We do reserve the right to invoice you for any additional costs, if your regional area is not covered by our regular courier services.

Please note that no orders can be rushed.

Cancellations and refunds are at our discretion, and a cancellation fee may apply.

We take pride in Studio Backdrops and want you to be ABSOLUTELY HAPPY with  our backdrops!  If for any reason you are not satisfied with our product, please send us an email and we will find a solution which is beneficial to both parties.
